What your free listing gets you
This is the payoff before a single step. Live example: safarihunts.co.za/farms/thaba-nkwe-safaris — every farm gets this.
01
Your Own Mini-Website
A property-style page for your operation: photo gallery with lightbox, species and trophy fees, your PH team, safety information and verified hunter reviews. You edit everything in place — no web designer, no waiting.
02
Found on Google
Your farm gets its own indexed page, plus placements across our species and destination guides. A hunter searching your farm's name — or planning a kudu hunt in your province — can land directly on you.
03
Escrow-Protected Bookings
Hunters pay their deposit into escrow before dates are confirmed — no more blocking prime weeks on a handshake. Funds release to you on hunt completion and pay out within 2 business days.
04
WhatsApp & Email Automation
Booking confirmations, deposit alerts and pre-arrival reminders at 30, 14 and 7 days — sent for you, to you and your hunter both. You answer your phone; the platform does the chasing.
05
The Full Supplier Chain
Taxidermy, dip & pack, freight, charter, photography and more quote directly into your bookings. Assemble a full hunt team on the platform instead of a week of phone calls.
06
Trophy Tracking & Records
The document chain runs from quota permit to the hunter's front door with live freight tracking. ATRS record entries showcase your trophy quality to every future client.
Your three responsibilities
Everything else — payments, hunter communication, pre-arrival briefs, escrow — Safari Hunts handles automatically.
01
Build Your Listing
Upload your banner photo, write your farm story, add species and trophy fees, set your daily rate and minimum nights. This is your mini-website — hunters see everything before they book.
02
Confirm Bookings
When a hunter pays their deposit you receive a WhatsApp and email. Log into your dashboard, review the booking, assign your PH, and confirm. The deposit sits in escrow until hunt completion.
03
Mark Hunt Complete
When the hunter departs, mark the hunt complete in your dashboard. This releases the escrow — funds hit your account within 2 business days. The hunter then submits their review.
Getting set up — step by step

Common questions
What happens if a hunter cancels? ▼
Cancellation policy is enforced automatically. More than 30 days out: partial refund per the policy. Within 30 days: deposit is non-refundable and released to you minus the Safari Hunts fee. You never chase a hunter for payment.
Can I update pricing after going live? ▼
Yes. Daily rates and trophy fees can be updated at any time. Changes apply to new bookings only — confirmed bookings are locked at the original price. Changes go live immediately with no re-review.
A species I offer isn't on the master list. What do I do? ▼
Use Custom Species in Dashboard → Species. Add the name, trophy fee, category, and any CITES/TOPS requirements. Admin reviews within 24 hours. Common custom species: colour variants (Golden Wildebeest, Black Impala) and introduced exotics.
How does the Safari Hunts platform fee work? ▼
9% of the total booking value (daily rate + trophy fees + extras), deducted before payout. You see your full payout amount before confirming any booking. No monthly charges, no listing fees, no hidden costs.
Can I assign different PHs to different bookings? ▼
Yes. When confirming a booking, you select the PH from your registered team. That PH receives their own brief via WhatsApp and is included in all pre-arrival alerts. Invite PHs from Dashboard → Team → Add PH.

Common questions
Do I need my own Safari Hunts account? ▼
Yes — 2 minutes to create when you accept the farm's invite. Your profile (PH number, bio, photo) is linked to every booking you're assigned to. Hunters see your profile before arriving.
Can I be linked to more than one farm? ▼
Yes. You can register as a PH on multiple farms. Each farm invites you separately. Your availability calendar applies across all farms — keeping it current is important when working with multiple operations.
Is ATRS mandatory? ▼
Not mandatory for payment release — but farms that use ATRS consistently average 0.6 rating points higher than those that don't. Each ATRS entry triggers a positive WhatsApp to the hunter. That emotional moment at trophy-down is where reviews are won.
