From the veld to your foyer: Nyati Wildlife Art, Windhoek

This leopard came out of our studio in Windhoek. Every hair, the set of the ears, the tension in the shoulders: that is what a mount should do, put you back at the moment you took the shot.

We are Nyati Wildlife Art, a taxidermy studio in the Northern Industrial area of Windhoek, Namibia, founded in 2004 by professional hunter Manfred Egerer. Twenty-seven craftsmen, our own tannery, our own form sculpting, and our own logistics team under one roof. From the pick-up of the trophies at your outfitter to the crate arriving at your door, it is one team and one order.

What we do: shoulder, pedestal, offset and wall-pedestal mounts, full mounts on natural or modern bases, skull-on-shield European mounts, rugs and flat skins, tanning, dip and pack for hunters who mount at home, and decor, furniture and jewellery made from your trophy. Every order is made for that client. Nothing is off the rack.

Turnaround is about six months from the deposit for mounts and three months for dip and pack and tanned hides. Export paperwork, CITES inspections and veterinary certificates are done here, and your crate travels to a clearing agent in your own country.

Our page on Safari Hunts has the full 2026 USD price guide and the gallery. Add Nyati to your Namibian hunt when you book, or ask us for a quote from the page. Quality is no coincidence.
